Chinese Steel exports declined by 300,000 tons month-on-month to 7.76 million tons during April and up 26% from a year ago.
Chinese exports of steel reached 56.83 million tons during the first eight months, an increase of 35.4% from a year earlier. However, China imported 1.17 million tons of steel products in August, down by 50,000 tons from July and down by 4.9% from a year earlier. Chinese imports of steel registered an increase of 4.4% Y/Y to 9.64 million tons during the first eight months of this year. |
