According relevant trade date, Taiwan is still increasing his flat stainless steel quantity that imported from mainland China. While neither YUSCO nor Tang Eng is overly concerned with it any more. As an officer from YUSCO said, a large amount of hot rolled and 400 series stainless steel are mainly imported to Taiwan market from mainly instead of cold rolled stainless steel after the anti-dumping duties were imposed. Due to the competitive price of imported hot rolled stainless steel, most of the Taiwan cold rolled steel factories purchase imported hot rolled stainless steel according to price and quality. Both of YUSCO and Tang Eng still show their concerns with the situation of importing hot rolled stainless steel while till now they have no plan to initiate anti-dumping proceedings. Tang Eng officer expressed that increase in importing hot rolled stainless steel quantity do have influence to them however they cannot prevent it. As importing hot rolled stainless steel is also a way out when they are facing the high cost in steelmaking.

Taiwan has been imposed anti-dumping duties for 300 series cold rolled stainless steel coils that imported from Korea and mainland China since August 15^th of last year. Nevertheless, stainless steel importing quantity from the two above-mentioned countries keeps increasing shown by Taiwan official data.
